Hi:

Even if purchased simply from a retailer such as Beat Buy, is there a reasonably priced "wand" or "gun" that can be installed on a laptop for the purposes of scanning data from a bar code label into Business Central?

Hi, You may consider using the BC Mobile app, which is free and can scan data into BC.

Business Central 2023 wave 2 (BC23): Print and scan barcodes (No customization)
