Hi there,

I have installed Dynamics 365 Nonprofit Accelerator (microsoft.com) from app source with sample data as well as installed nonprofit toolkit with sample data

I would now like to understand licensing implications.

Would a per app per user (PowerApp) license or per user (PowerApp) license be enough for the user to remain license compliant or

is the accelerator using CDM that is based on D365 entities and so the users will also require minimum D365 sales or some other kind of minimal dynamic license to go with power app license ?

This accelerator requires a PowerApps per user license which would enable unlimited usage of Power Apps and there is no dependency on D365 Sales.

Is the accelerator using CDM that is based on D365 entities?

It is using Dataverse and the Nonprofit CDM. Please see GitHub for details. GitHub - microsoft/CDM: The Common Data Model (CDM) is a standard and extensible collection of schemas (entities, attributes, relationships) that represents business concepts and activities with well-defined semantics, to facilitate data interoperability. Examples of entities include: Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, Product, etc.
