How to Create a Unique Identifier Field Type that Points to Shipping Address?

The problem I am trying to solve is I am using the Ship to Address on the Order Entity and I want to use this field’s value to populate a similar field on the Service Activity Entity when I run a Workflow. I can do this between Quote and Order, but not between Order and Service Activity because I can't find or create a Unique Identifier Field that I can then map to the Ship to Address from the Order Entity. 

My question is, can I create a Unique Identifier field type? I don’t see it as one of the Field Option types in the drop down. I would like to keep the nice Street1, Street2 etc. design I have on the Quote and Order forms.

    Hi Robert,

    That field is a Composite Field / Fly-out menu (depending on your terminology preference), and you can't create a new one or customize existing menus (per www.magnetismsolutions.com/.../working-with-dynamics-crm-2013-composite-fields-fly-out-menu ). You probably need to handle this requirement as either a custom workflow step or a new plugin.

    Hi Robert,

    So you want to map the Shipping Address in the Order entity to the Service Activity?

    From the service activity to Order, you use the existing Order and Service Activity relationship?

    Basically you can have the shipto_addressed field that supposed to be filled in by the address id

    And you also have shipto_composite

    Or if you don't need other other field you can reuse the field to be unique identifier.

    The new field type unique identifier you cant create it you can only create new string.
