Hi All,

What is the current record fetched by a FetchXML query? I know in the past it was 5000 but it was be changed.

Does CRM charts also has a limit in the back-end that they fetch?
Same for SRSS reporting on CRM online?

Thanks in advance.
Robin

    Still 5000 records.

And how can this be avoided? Paging possibilities?

This is just surreal if you want to create advanced reports for your customer..

In the link I provided is written, you need to use the paging cookie.

If you want to create advanced reports you can always create some entities to host intermediary data to be processed or move the report generation to another server creating a stage database.

    Thanks for your answer.

But this means charts in CRM also maximum fetch 5000 records? And no paging can be adressed in charts, right?

EDIT: Nvm, stupid question I think. Charts will use aggregate queries & etc.

To answer your question specifically, there is a method to page result sets larger than 5,000 - it's widely documented here.

Unrelated to this question is how to aggregate more than 50,000 records using FetchXml. The above tactic works, but the amount of time it will take you to retrieve this larger recordset and then aggregate it will vary from longer to unreasonable. :)

Fetch XML using aggregate does not return the records more than 5K.

@Michael: your link does not have example of Fetch XML using aggregate.

I am not sure what is the alternate .
