Notes disappear when Lead is qualified

I've run into several instances whereby I have information recorded under the 'Notes' section of a Lead, and then once that Lead is qualified I lose this information.  It does not show up in the 'Notes' section of the resulting Contact, Opportunity, or Account that are created through the qualify process... What am I missing?  Is that information moved to a different area that haven't located, or does it just go away?  Any way around this?

Notes do not roll up to the Account Contact or Opportunity upon qualification. They stay with the originating lead.

A plugin could be developed to re-parent or copy the lead notes when they are qualified

    Hello,

This is by design, the notes stays with the original lead.

This is how it used to work in CRM 2011 as well. As Brian and Guido suggested you can use plugins to achieve the desired result.

    Thanks.
