All CRM entries for an User

Dear Experts,

I am getting so many requests from client end saying that "Please give me all CRM entries (Contact | Opportunity | Appointment | Activities) for an User (eg. John who left organization).

Is there any way by which I can get all CRM records where that particular user is set as Owner | Created By or any means.

    Hi Jitendra,

    Log in as System Admin, Then go-->contacts

    In the view grid, click on filter option, then select the owner and then custom filter (system will show one pop up window)in that select option "Equals" then User(John).

    It will dispaly the records created by john

    I'm assuming they want some sort of list of records, not a data dump of the records themselves.

    The question would have to be "why do you want this?" The likely answer is "so we can re-assign them to a current user". In which case there is not much point providing a list, when there is a built-in feature to reassign all of a user's records to someone else.

    In real-world practice, it might be much easier for them to do this entity by entity, of course. Maybe they do not want to re-assign all previous closed activities, but do need Accounts and Contacts.
