Hi all,
Up until Version 9, you could right click on a hyperlinked value in a list view (like Subject or Regarding) and choose to open the link in a new tab or window, and it would. In the UCI though, all it does is reload the list view.
Anybody know of a way around this? Having to open records and then reloading the entire list of 2000 and page back to where you were 250 records at a time is kind of a hassle...
Tried it in Chrome/Edge... and it still works in Advanced Find but that uses the old interface.
Thanks!

And one last post on this subject. The response from MS is now:
"This is currently behaving as designed. In UCI, we have not implemented a right click context menu for Grid yet. The right click context that shows up today is provided by the browser itself and the fact that it is opening the same page in a new tab or new window a browser behavior. We already have a feature in our backlog to provide this capability in the upcoming months. We are aware of this ask and working on enabling it in future releases. For now this is behaving as expected."
So, not any time soon... This is unfortunate as it takes away a very handy interface shortcut. :(
Reported the issue to Microsoft and they confirmed the issue exists. I would expect a fix in an upcoming update, but for now it's busted.
Him
futhermore, i found that , if you right click and copy the link, the link is actually not direct to record itself. So , either this is new changes or bug.
You can try your self. Below is the sample of link i copied.
