Hi All,

i' m new on Dynamics crm 2016 (on premises version). and i need to know if there is a way to migrate user and security roles form development environment to production

Hi Dade

You can add them to your solution in Dev and then import it into live

Thanks !! I will try... consultant who has installed dynamics crm in our company said that it was not possible to migrate security roles only users...

Hi,

Assuming you just need to take your users and security role ?? so create one solution and add security role to it, and than you can import this solution to your production env. After that you can import user to production as well, this should help you

Hi - I know this is a old thread but can you also bring over new allocated business units in the solution? as if you do the above and then want to change business units the security roles will default and will have to reassign them
