Documents folder will disappear sometimes

My documents folder will be available on some days and will disappear on other days. Why is it doing this. When it isn't showing up on my computer I can go and login to a different computer and voila it's there. This is driving me batty please help.

Yes, I am referring to the SharePoint document integration. We have our own SharePoint server on location.

When I am in an opportunity and I need to add documents. The document tab in the drop down located beside the name of the opportunity will be missing.

Could you post a screen shot? There are sometimes where the navigation get's out of sync when using the back button or navigating between sub grids.

The documents tab should be between the activities and quotes.

Hi,

If it has disappeared completely and it used to be there then I would check with your system administrator that you have a role that gives you access to the document location entity. If it is sometimes there and sometimes not it could be that documents are not enabled on opportunity records and just on accounts.

Hi Victoria,

I would like to inform you that this is a known issue with CRM 2013 wherein Randomly "Documents" is Missing from Navigation Bar and investigation is in process. I will update this thread, once I have more information regarding the issue.

Is there a "quick fix" for this issue? I have a client experiencing the same issue in an on-premise environment. Is it possible that it is related to enabling server-based integration? Thanks.
