Difference between Add Line / Add Lines / Add Products.

Hi Everyone ,

Can anyone help me the difference between Add Line / Add Lines / Add Products in Purchase order and sales Order. Can anyone explain detail functionality as well as the Process please.

Add Line- Creates new line on PO or SO, so users can add items manually. / Add Lines - Allows the user to add multiple lines from the existing and new items list. These lists can be filtered by different dimensions. / Add Products- Multiple products can be added by product group, Item group, Buyer Group, Supplier account. The only downside to this is there is no available stock on the screeen.

Thank you Hitesh for your response, Can you suggest me any vedio link to go through please. coz I tried to add multiple items in Add Lines, when I tried this, maximum 2 items are getting select. so please help.

as well as what is the exact difference between Add Lines & Add Products not able to get that. plz explain.

Hy D R,

as you go through all item in "Add Lines" and filter these with custom filter e.g. "avaiable physical" or other.

Using "Add products" you need to have setup MINIMUM ONE product category hierarchy.

(1) Select one category hierachy (you can have multiple), then navigate through category (2) and add products (3) and enter the quantity you want to sell (4).
