Document integration with CRM on-premise and sharepoint online

Hi All,

I've been strugling to get the integration right. I think i know what the problem is but let me go through my steps.

1. I downloaded the list component and activated it on sharepoint online.

2. I went to document management settings, selected the identity's entered my online sharepoint url.

When trying to validate the url i either get 1 of 2 errors :

1. the list component cannot be detected.

2. It circle showing progress takes forever, when i cancel it wants to send an error report to MS. When viewing the data it says "permission denied".

My question is? am i doing something wrong.

We do not have single sign-on the sharepoint online. So CRM on-premise uses AD authentication and sharepoint online uses Office 365 credentials.

Regards

    Hello,

Ensure that we are following the same steps mentioned in this link for integrating SharePoint with CRM Online 2011 :

I guess you have tried it, but have you logged in to SharePoint in Another window first, just to make sure that there is no issue with authentication.

I would also make sure that both URL:s are in the same zones in IE (if that is what you are running). Recommended Trusted Sites.

Refer to this link please. It works for both CRM Online and On Premise:
