Data Import Errors Log File

Hello everyone,

I am trying to find the causes of data import errors. Is there a way to get a log file for that instead of going through the import errors page by page from the failures screen?. Please bear in mind that the error records are in thousands.

    To do this, we can open the record of the import itself. In this example, we can click “Client List.csv.” When the record window opens, click the Failures label in the Related pane on the left of the form.

    Hello Ashraf .

    Thank you for reaching out. I wanted to know what is the version of Dynamics CRM that you are using . Is it Dynamics 365 on premises or Dynamics CRM online .

    If you are using Dynamics 365 which is CRM online then I would suggest you to open a support request with Microsoft and request them to provide you with error logs details which gets logged on the backend hosted server .

    If you are using Dynamics 365 on premises then you can always have a look at the event viewer and look for any asynchronous or MSCRMapplication based errors in the source column.

    Additionally I would request you to have a look at the following article

    support.microsoft.com/.../how-to-enable-tracing-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm  

    which gives details about logging errors for Dynamics CRM.
