NAV 2009 CC - inventory postings don't post in G/L after "Adjust costs" with posting option

In a NAV 2009 CC database, the Inventory Adjustment feature is enabled within the Inventory Setup, but it has never actually been executed. Consequently, I ran the Inventory Adjustment and then attempted to post the resulting values to the General Ledger. However, even after running the report, there are still no Value Entries associated with the Item and Value Entries. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?
I have the same question (0)

NAV2009 has been discontinued for many years. Please upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.
And hope the following can give you some hints.

    Hello,
In NAV 2009, Adjust Cost - Item Entries does not create the original Value Entries; those should already exist from item postings, and the adjustment only recalculates/creates adjustment value entries when there is actually a cost difference to push forward. After that, Post Inventory Cost to G/L only posts based on existing Value Entries where Cost Amount differs from Cost Posted to G/L. So if you still see no Value Entries, I would first check that you are looking at the correct table/page/company and that the item transactions were posted as real item ledger transactions, not only quantities/imported data; then check whether the item ledger entries have costs, whether purchases/sales were invoiced, whether filters were used on the adjustment batch, and whether the Post Inventory Cost to G/L run was only a test report or had entries skipped because of posting setup/date/account issues. The key point is: no Value Entries means the problem is before G/L posting — the item costing/value layer is missing or not created for those item entries.
    Regards,
