Close Opportunity. Remove "Default" status reason option!

Hi all.

In the entity "Opportunity close", the field "Status reason" is required, which is good. The problem is, that the "first value" is default. Which means that if you dont pay attention, the first value will be selected. Isnt it possible to remove this default value, and leave it blank. So they HAVE to choose?

    Hi Azillion,

    Unfortunately the status reason cannot be left blank. They have to have a value however if you have mutiple value you can set the default value from any of the available list.

    The problem is that we see a lot of our sales people who don't do this, which confuses our picture. They just let the default one be..

    One of my client had the same issue. For them we created a dummy status 'Select' snd mark it as default to avoid any issues with data analytics.
