Migrating data from one Business Central Cloud Production environments to another (same tenant)

Hello,

We are currently creating a new company in a Production enviroment. In this environment there are other companies too.

¿Could be possible migrating data from one Business Central Cloud Production environments to another with the same tenant? I mean, restore the same company in another Production environments.

    There is a planned release coming up that will allow you to Copy a Production Environment to a new Production Environment.  Then you would remove the companies you don't need from the new Prod Environment to reduce data storage.

    You have the ability to copy Companies from within a Production Environment, but not to a new Prod. Environment or the whole Production Environment.  Soon though, I believe it is in this fall release.

    For the time being the only way to accomplish this is to create Configuration Packages to move the data between the separate Production Environments.

    • Production to Production
    • Sandbox to Sandbox
    • Sandbox to Production
