Microsoft BC tab removes bookmarks bar in Chrome

When I have a tab open with Microsoft BC, the bookmarks bar is no longer visible. Do you know how I can correct this?

    Hi, This has nothing to do with BC, this is Chrome's default setting.
    For example,
    Opening Google doesn't show bookmarks either
