Is it possible to have email open in modal window out of Dynamics 365 CRM

When the sales rep opens an email for their customer, then email window opens and covers up the information about the customer they are writing the email to. They wan to be able to see the customer information at the same time they are writing the email.

    Please check enhanced email: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/set-up-enhanced-email 

    As alternative option, you can open a record as modal dialog using navigateTo() JavaScript function: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/model-driven-apps/clientapi/reference/xrm-navigation/navigateto

    Hi Sendsations,

    This is another OOB approach to achieve your requirement that is to use Enhanced Email. It opens a modal window to edit email in current page as shown below.

    Ran Zhang, This is working well for us, except some users are not seeing the enhanced email, they only see the legacy. I have had them restart their computer, browser, but still not seeing the new enhanced view. About half see the enhanced window, and half don't. Do you have any thoughts of something I can do to get it to show to everyone. I'm guessing it is some sort of caching that is going on. Thanks for any thoughts you have on this. And thanks again for this solution!
