HI.
I have created a custom field on the vendor card to store a contract start date, however, the newly created field only shows up being 'non-editable'. I am the System Administrator.
How can I make this field editable to enter a date?
Many Thanks
Hi Silvio,
Can you show us the screenshot?
So that we can give you a better suggestion.
Thanks,
Girish S.
If you can't type a value into the custom field when the page is in Edit mode, this may be because the table that the field was added to is currently read only. All fields in a table become read only if the backing table is currently configured as read only on the page.
And only table+field bound control values could be edited, if in the originating table they have AllowEdit = yes defined.

Hope it will be helpful!
