Dynamics 365 Portals customizing default public profile page

Hi all,

I'd like to replace the default public profile page on my Dynamics 365 Portal.

By default on this page are the blog posts, ideas and forum threads of the user, but I'd like to replace this with a custom page template.

Can this be done ootb?

    Hi Elmar,

    You can write your own HTML/Jquery/CSS under below section in order to customize your Profile page:

    • Custom Javascript
    • Custom CSS
    • Copy (HTML)

    Like below:

    Hi Arpit,

    I think we're talking about a different page.

    The page you added is you personal profile page.

    The page I'm talking about is the public profile page. You can access this page by clicking on an users name for example in the blog post or forum thread.

    Hi Elmar,

    Unfortunately, I don't think there is any supported OOTB way to change this page.  There are a bunch of snippets that will allow you to change some text, but the functionality is pretty set in stone.

    If you really needed to change this, I suppose one option would be some jQuery you include on every page that looks for the links to the OOTB version and replaces it with a custom link.
