That depends upon what all features you want. Also, you might need to consider the licensing as well (I don't have much idea on licences though).

Sales App is also a model driven app which you can customize. I would sggest you to customize it as per your needs and then see if it will work for you or not. For example, I don't believe cases are there in Sales App so if you are using case functionality then Sales Ap may not work for you.

In short, you will need to create/ customize your own model driven app (it could be custom or Sales as per your needs) to remove that alert warning.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks again for the info Ravi

The above warning is of D365 - custom app

Since their work is related to sales, while using free trials i have noticed there are sales and sales hub app present in free trial

If they use this sales or sales hub app directly app, will these app have all the features present and will it work fine?

Also will it be same as the modal driven app, which you suggested me to create?

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

Nothing will happen to data as creating a new app meas creating a new user interface/ UI... You can leave it as is but it is not recommended and as per the message it is possible that few things may not work in future.

Creating a new app requires effort so if you are okay to invest time on that then do go ahead with a new app. This will also give you more flexibility in terms of what you want to display to users.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response Ravi

What will happen to the data if i create a new app?

Also please advise on if the user is okay with the present working of the app, and if we leave it as it is, will it cause any problem in future

    Best Regards,

    Hi Sumaira,

This is a message which appears when you load the default app i.e one with the sales, service marketing module which comes by default. As per the message, there might be some functionalities which may not work correct using the default app. If you create your own app then you won't see this message.

    Hope this helps.
