Super (Data) Permission Set - Checks

Hey,

I have been tasked with keeping a few of our users with super (Data) permission set from printing/cutting checks.  Can I update another permission(i.e. gen journal read only to prevent) and add that to their user permission set or do I have to create a whole new set since they technically have a super permission?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi

My suggestion is to copy super (Data) permission set. Then remove the permissions you do not need and then assign it to them.

or you can try and see if you can use security filter to not give access to those pages (copy permission set, assign filter, assign to those users) https://yzhums.com/10133/

or use this free app to limited their access into important fields https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365-business-central/PUBID.netsmartz%7CAID.fieldsecuritylevel%7CPAPPID.01caa6a8-90b0-461c-9288-ef3a30c692d4?tab=Overview
