How to Stop System to calculate Est Revenue based on Product Line Items when Revenue is Selected as System Calculated?

I have added to different new calculated field and added a business rule to update the estimated revenue based on the new field. But System overwrites the value due to which it shows the system calculation in Database.

Hi,

When you select “System Calculated”, the “Est. Revenue” field is locked and the system calculation cannot seem to be stopped.

You can choose “User Provided” in “Revenue”.

This allows you to populate “Est. Revenue” with the values calculated by your own rules.

Thank you for responding, but this is not the solution i have asked for.

I want to get rid of the system calculation on the basis of product line items when Revenue is selected as System calculated

Make this field as locked/hide on the form and choose default value as the user provided.

then probably you will able to update the values.

Also you can write a plugin which will on opportunity product entity, so when user will create/update any opportunity product then you should run your plugin which will calculate revenue as per your formula and update it on the opportunity.
