Hi,

Our business requirement is to have the session time out as 3 hours.

I want to know if we increase session timeout to 3 hours will it effect system performance since there will be more active sessions? Currently it is 30 minutes.

Thanks,

Mahua Banerjee

    Hi Mahua,

what number of users do I have to think of? 10's, 100's, 1000's?

In most cases increasing the session time out won't affect the performance (they can be logged on, but won't do simultaneous update/create/read operations).

I hope this helps you forward

Thanks for replying. Number of users will be in 100's for at least next couple of years.

    Thanks,

    Mahua
