CRM-Outlook Integration Set regarding to not working

Hello,

I am having some trouble tracking emails within CRM through outlook. Everything has been configured correctly, when I have the email I want to track up and click set regarding to and find a contact to associate it with and click that contact. It still gives me that the email is not being tracked within CRM and that there is no one it is set regarding to at the bottom pane of the email. I also do not see it being tracked in CRM as well. Any suggestions why this is happening or how I can correct this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Sarhad

    Hi Sarhad,

    Thanks for using the forums.

-Could you please let me know, if the tracking has worked earlier? Were there any new changes that could have triggered the issue?
-Have you tried to force sync the data with the CRM server after tracking it in outlook client?

-Are multiple users facing the same issue?
-Could you please help me understand what is happening when you click on the  "Set Regarding" button?
    -Is this a consistent behavior?

-I agree with Kiran, it would also be a good idea to enable the outlook client tracing. (For more details on the same please click here. )

    Hi Sarhad,
Make sure that the CRM plug in for Outlook is on the same UR version as of the CRM Server.
Also, do verify Background tagging in checked on the "Diagnostics" wizard for CRM.
You may  go ahead and re-configure the CRM Org (Just remove the Organization from the Configuration Wizard and Re-add it). This should work.

    Regards,

Sept 23rd.  We had issues with the Set Regarding going to 'None' and then having to Sync to CRM before selecting an actual set regarding record.  This worked once we updated the outlook client to SP1 UR1 (6.1.1.132).

Maybe it will work for you as well.

What Outlook client are you on?  SP1 UR1?

I've seen people say make sure that you are on the latest Outlook client rollup, but I have also done this and still have the problem occasionally. It is definitely not resolved by the latest rollup.
