Warehouse receipt for non-inventory item

How can I create a warehouse receipt transaction for a non-inventory or service item? I need to create purchase orders for non inventory items and then create a separate receiving transaction against the purchase order.

Hi,

Simple Post the Purchase Order. Separate Purchase Receipt document created. Why you required Warehouse in case of Non-inventory items

I am importing purchase orders and receipt transactions from a third-party software that tracks inventory, but does not have accounts payable functionality. I want BC to facilitate the creation of the purchase invoices by matching receipts against purchase orders. I do not need nor want BC to track inventory.
