Using BC online - a production environment - version 26.0

Automatic sync of orders from Shopify to BC has stopped working after the last update to version 26.0
Shopify connector "sync orders automatically" is enabled in the store but the orders have to be retrieved manually with "sync orders from Shopify". Everything else works fine in the Shopify connector.
 
Any hint would be appreciated

    Suggested Fixes

    Check Job Queue Entries

    • Go to Job Queue Entries (Search > "Job Queue Entries")
    • Filter for Object Type = Codeunit and Object ID = Shopify Order Sync Job (or similar)
    • Confirm that it: Exists and Is enabled and Has no errors and Is scheduled to run periodically (e.g., every 5 or 10 minutes)

    If it's missing, the upgrade may have disrupted it.

    2. Re-enable the Sync Job : You can trigger re-initialization by:

    • Going to the Shopify Shop Card
    • Disabling “Sync orders automatically”
    • Re-enabling it again — this should re-register the background job
    • Wait a few minutes and then check the Job Queue Entries again.

    I have already tried to disable/enable the automatic sync of order but it did not work.
     
    I do not remember having set up report 30104 "automatic sync of order" to run in job queue entries - I mean all orders are synced automatically without it - shouldn't they or am I remembering wrong? It is not a problem to set it up if necessary..

    When I have synced orders from Shopify manually I see report 30104 has been run in the log entries.

    Maybe this will give you a hint to resolve the issue.

     

    It’s definitely unusual that auto sync stopped right after the upgrade to version 26.0.

    Here are a few things you can check:

    Make sure new Shopify orders are not in “Archived” status — the connector ignores archived orders during auto sync.
    • Double-check if “Auto Sync Orders” is still enabled after the upgrade (sometimes settings can reset).

    • Review the Microsoft documentation for Shopify Connector (v26) — there may be changes in background job handling or scheduling.

    • Also, check out Microsoft’s latest “What’s New in Shopify Connector” video on their YouTube channel for updates or known issues.

    If all looks correct and it's still not working, you may need to log a ticket with Microsoft support.

    I haven't seen similar problems before. I suggest you submit it to the BC yammer group below. Microsoft technicians should be able to give you a better response.

    I’m trying to sign up for the BC Yammer group, but I’m facing a few issues.

    First, I didn’t receive any confirmation email when using the sign-up link you shared. Then, I tried to go directly to the login page and used the “Forgot Password” option — but it showed a message saying that my request was sent for approval.

    I used my company email, which is associated with a Microsoft Partner account. Am I missing a step, or is this the correct way to sign up? Also, can we sign up using a personal email, or does it have to be a Microsoft Partner email?

    Thanks everyone - have gone through the suggestions but haven't found a solution.

    There is an update to our environment scheduled for June 4, 2025 so I will wait and see if it fixes itself if a bug is found.

    If issues persist, raise a support request with Microsoft, as this may be a version-specific regression or require patching from their side.
