Hi all,

Hopefully this is a really simple question, as I have had some conflicting information and trying to clarify.

If a BC environment (Sandbox or Prod) has been updated to to version 2022 Release Wave 1, will basic authentication (Web Service Access Key) backed processes acutally stop working?

We have a Sandbox environment that has been upgraded and Postman requests using Basic Auth continue to work. 

Hoping someone can clarify this as an anomaly, or whether this is intentional and will stop working at a later date.

    Hi Nitin,

    Thanks for your response.

    There is no question as to what we 'should' be doing, but that is not my question. I am trying to understand whether the Wave 1 release has actually blocked/stopped/disabled basic auth from working altogether.

    We have a lot of information that says it has been removed, but we can still perform requests that use it within Postman.

    After some clarity as to all of this.
