Payment terms ID not showing up on Returns

Good morning,

I am trying to get the Payment Terms ID to show up on our return form when I create them.  This way I know if the customer is credit card I can automatically put the money back on their card.  I have gone into report writer and we use the SOP blank return form.  I have added it from the sales transaction work table and have made sure that my id is set to use the modified form.  It still does not show up.  The return form looks like it is set up just like our blank invoice form and it shows up on the invocie.  Am I missing something?

Thank you,

Katie

Are you printing the return from GP or word template.

IF using word template you can add in what information you need in a drag and drop format.

You can download the wordtemplate for gp from Microsoft and its FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I will eventually print from a word template but my understanding was that I had to add it to the GP report first and then I can add it to the template.

I am testing it now printing out of GP and it will not show up.  I will try the template.

    Hello Katie

I would like to throw my comment in here as well. You can simply use the word template, it is there neat and available at the tips of your fingers.

Let us know if you have any further inquiries,

    Good morning,

I am trying to add the field in to the word template, but I do not see it available.  On the Standard report I had to add the table RM Customer Mstr in order for it to pull in the payment terms.  So when I print the standard form out of GP it is now on there.  How do I add a table to the template?  It has been awhile since I had to modify one.

    Thank you,

    Katie

    Hello,

I actually figured out how to get it to work.  I had to export the report as an xml and then import it again so the new source picked up.  So I have not gotten the term on the template.  Thank you for your help.
