D365 Warehouse Management

My company launched D365 at the beginning of 2022. We opted to print the Works for the Pick Process. Now we feel that we are operating normal, we want to go paperless with the Works.  What set ups would have to be done to set up Paperless Work, how do we set priorities, how do we combine same ship to addresses?  any Pros or Cons

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Bill,

Could you tell me what app you are using in D365?

    Hi Bill,

I do assume you are using Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management when you ask about warehouse management and the pick process. I have moved your question to the correct forum where you would probably get a correct answer.

    Hello Bill

Assuming you refer to an advance Warehouse approach.

It's possible to be paperless without any customization.

Some setup must be changed and as always there are multiple workarounds:

The mobile device menu items must be changed to 'System directed'

    • With this it will automatically assign an open work to the user that enters that menu item

You could create work lists, to select manually which work the warehouse worker want to execute

In the work template you could assign a work priority, if the mobile device menu item is system directed you could assign this field as a sorting field in the device menu item

This field could be changed manually when the Work exists
