Error Posting a corrective Sales Credit Memo

I have a Sales Credit Memo that was created by the system via the "Create Corrective Credit Memo" button. The CM has not been changed from what the system generated.

When I try to post the CM I get the following error:

"There is no Cust. Ledger Entry within the filter....."

Please advise why this is happening and how can I get this CM to post.

    Is the invoice you are applying it to closed? Error suggests with the filters it is possibly not.

    I Invoiced a non-agreement Invoice to a client for X amount, when I shouldn't have.

    I caught the error after I deposited the check. I reached out to them, let them know, and they were fine with just getting a credit on their next Invoice.

    Their next invoice happens to be a managed services agreement invoice.
