Upgrade from CRM2013 to CRM2015 on-prem

I have 3 servers - 2 CRMs and 1 SQL.  SQL server is common for CRM2013 and CRM2015 and I'm trying to install CRM in new server but while installing I'm getting this error - The Dynamics CRM 6.0 Connector for SQL Server Reporting Services must be uninstalled before Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 Reporting Extension can be Installed. I cannot remove CRM connector for SQL server reporting service from SQL server because it has already production database. Do we any alternative to install CRM 2015 reporting extension on same server.

    Hi dhavalshah,

    Your only option is to uninstall the Dynamics CRM 6.0 Connector for SQL Server Reporting Services before installing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 Reporting Extension.

    Will it affect connection with existing connection? because it is connected with CRM production environment.

    Hi dhavalshah,

    It will have an impact on the existing connection. Uninstall the Dynamics CRM 6.0 Connector for SQL Server Reporting Services at your own risk.
