Payroll setup of NY paid family leave deduction

How do you set up a deduction for the new NY paid family leave?  The regular deduction setup only gives 2 decimal places, but the NY deduction is .126% of the first 1305.92 per week.  The w/c deduction doesn't have a weekly limit.

I'm guessing your pay period is not weekly; that would be too easy. I think you might consider changing it to weekly so that you can apply the maximum. If you need 3 decimal places (or more) I use a multicurrency code to get what I need as far as decimals. I have a blog post about how that works. Check it out HERE.

I've been able to put together some interesting deductions using the flexibility of the garnishment and sequencing rules.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
