How to set regarding for a task within Outlook

Hello,

With the Dynamics 365 app in Outlook, if I go into tasks within Outlook, and open up a task, I don't see a Dynamics 365 app. However, when I am in my inbox I see the app button and I can click it and create a new task and set the regarding with no problem. But how do I do it with a task that is already created in my outlook?

Hi USA80,

For a task that is already created in your outlook:

You can click app button and open the app to search task name you have created dirctly.

Click it to view details, then you can set Regarding field:

Note:

'App for Outlook' button is not available on Tasks in Outlook currently, you can create a new idea through the below URL, then ask your colleagues to raise up the votes. Our product team has direct visibility of these ideas and they will implement it on the basis of the highest number of votes received.
