Automate purchase process

Hi All,

We're trying to automate a part of our purchase process but we're struggling with a callback error.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Server attempted to issue a client callback to run page 99000852 Planning Worksheet. Client callbacks are not supported on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Server.

What we're trying to do is as followed.

We've filled the Planning Worksheet (99000852, Worksheet)  with the required items, but when we want to automate the process from this part we're experiencing the error above.

Is there anyone with the same error that knows how to solve this error?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

You're encountering a common issue in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central where server-side processes can't perform client callbacks.

To resolve this, ensure your automation script avoids client-side operations, consider using job queues for background tasks, and check for the latest updates and patches.

If the Planning Worksheet requires user interaction, explore alternative methods or If needed, reach out to Microsoft support for more specific guidance.

We're trying to do this with a job queue. Apparently this isn't allowed by the Microsoft server then?

You should avoid using the page (99000852 - Planning Worksheet) for automation. Instead, use the Planning Worksheet Management codeunit (99000853), which provides the necessary functionality for automating the worksheet process server-side. If needed, Power Automate can be used to trigger this process as part of a larger workflow.

Please find the link to support callback issue

    Thanks
    Ramesh
