Dashboards don't get removed from PROD

I am going to remove some dashboards from an app in production. I update the correct solution in DEV via Power Apps, remove the mentioned dashboards, and publish the changes to DEV. When I open DEV, I see that the dashboards have been removed from the app. Then I deploy the solution to PROD, and it seems to go fine. However, the dashboards are still present in PROD. I have tried clearing the cache, etc., but the dashboards are still accessible. Why are they not being removed?

Hey,

Are you using managed solutions or unmanaged solutions?

If you are using unmanaged solutions, deploying the solution won't delete the dashboards in prod, you'll have to delete them manually.

Hi There,

Unmanaged solutions don't actually delete components (like dashboards) when you remove them from the solution. The components remain in the environment unless explicitly deleted. On the other hand managed solution, remove the components when they are deleted in the solution.

If your production environment is using an unmanaged solution, removing the dashboards in DEV may not lead to deletion in PROD unless you delete the components manually.

Have you removed dashboard from the app ? If still it is not working then you can try to remove all the security roles access from the dashboard. This will remove the permission.
