Basically that was covered in TK 872650 But I don't know if they are no longer supporting Frx if that is available.
Basically it starts you out by having you go to your sysdata folder and renaming all the .g32's to old and then opening Frx and rebuilding them.
Then it asks if you are pointing at the right datasource
Verify that the company in Microsoft FRx has the correct data source name for the financial system. To do this, follow these steps:
1. In Microsoft FRx, click Company, click Information, and then click the System Specific Information tab.
2. In the Data Source Name list, click the same Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) that is used when you log on to the company in the financial system.
3. Click Save.
Then it wants to know if your Frx Database is corrupted:
Have all users exit Microsoft FRx. To do this, have all users click Exit on the File menu.
Have one user log on to Microsoft FRx as the administrator.
In Microsoft FRx, click File, and then click Compact FRx Database.
Click FRx System Database, click Yes, and then click OK.
Click File, click Compact FRx Database, click Current Spec Set Database, click Yes, and then click OK.
Then it checks to see if your .f32 report file is corrupted and must be rebuilt:
Create a new specification set and a new .F32 report file. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click Company, and then click Specification Sets.
2. Click the specification set that is used by the company that is receiving the error message.
3. Click Export, and then click all the items on each tab.
4. Click Export again, select a file name and a location for the export .TDB file, and then click Save.
5. To create a new specification set, click New, and then type a new .F32 report file name in the Location box.
6. Save the new specification set.
7. Click Import, and then select the .TDB file that you created in step 4.
8. Save the specification set.
9. Click Company, click Information, click the new specification set in the Specification Set list, and then click Save.
10. Set the company as the default company.
Then it wants to know if your latest SP was installed. So, download and install the SP
The last thing it wants you to do is run the server based indexing script
Run the server-based indexing (SBI) script that is included in the Microsoft FRx service packs in SQL Query Analyzer. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Log on to Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio as the sa user.
2. On the File menu, point to Open, and then click File.
3. Locate the SBI script, and then click Open.
4. Follow the "Special Instructions" section in the script.
And of course, before I would be doing anything, I would be backing up my FRx sysdata and I/o Data files.
