4Report Writer User Defined Functions
Report Writer has a handy function 'GetItemDescription'. In those rare instances where the header of a report might refer to an item number that is different than the detail section it is quite useful - in Sales order entry - if the sales line item is a kit item - then the kit item will have a different item description than components of the kit.........
I am trying to modify a manufacturing report where I want the 'header item''s UDF value (#5) to display in the header section and I want the detail section item number (different item number than header item number) to also display UDF value (#5).
Is it possible to create my own functions? something like 'GetItemUDF5'
Any suggestions would be appreciated..........
