Version mismatch

I have GP2010 R2, SQL2008 R2 running on my laptop in a server-only install, no client.  When I try to activate Project Accounting via Add/Change Programs and then launching GP, I'm getting a version mismatch error -

Product Name: Project Accounting     Database Version: 1101627     Client Version: 1101802

Checking the version from the GP UI indicates that the version is in fact 11.0.1627

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks,

You will need to reapply the last SP/Hot Fix you installed so that Project Accounting gets patched to the proper version on your client.

I tried applying latest SP and when running Utilities, get the error 'problem ascertaining product version information'.  I check the duinstall.log and every product indicates that it 'does not support upgrading from version 11.0.1627'.

    Hi Frank,

I've had a similar problem when adding Fixed Assets to a system.

The module had never been implemented so should not have had a previous version number in the database but for some reason GP Utilities set a version number and then crapped out with the message you're seeing.

With everything backup up I did some fiddling and found that if I set the previous version to 0 (off the top of my head I don't remember the table but I think it was one of the DU tables in DYNAMICS; perhaps DU000020) that i could then run GP Utilities against the company and get everything to the correct versions.
