I have given a user access to Purchasing Manager.  However, he is not able to add and maintain comments on Purchase Orders.  I would like to give him access, but I can't find it anywhere.  That is, I can't find it in the security tasks window, under any module.

    Currently no security task is enabled with comment setup window. So, create a new task as per below screen and assign this task to under PURCHASING MANAGER role in Security Role window.

    When it comes to security, there is a script that has been developed by David, all you need to do is to include the window display name to get the existing security roles and tasks, it can be found on How to identify the Security Tasks and Security Roles associated with a specific window or report

    Later on, the script by utilized and published online for users to easily look for security task and roles. Go to this link http://www.gpwindow.com/securitysearch.php

    then type the name of the window (in your case, purchasing comment entry), it will retrieve the current roles and tasks for you to consider.
