Microsoft Dynamics POS v2: How to Combine Like Items on Receipt

Hello everyone,

 Is it possible to combine like items on a receipt? I don't see any option for this. For example, if a customer bought 3 Glade candles, instead of it showing up like this:

Glade candle

Glade candle

Glade candle

I would like it to show up like this:

Glade candle

3 @ $3.50

Is there any possible way to do this using Microsoft Dynamics POS v2.0?

    Hi,

    One way of doing this is to have an Add-On that updates the quantities of the Items depending on whether it has been entered more than once. This can happen every time you enter an item to the transaction or as you complete the transaction (just before posting to the database and printing the receipt)
