Will creating multiple processes have an effect on CRM Instance?

Hello,

We are using CRM Online version 9.1

We have the following requirement:

If the value of XYZ field is Yes and if Opportunity is Won, update the value of ABC field to Yes in Account (Potential Customer) entity.

I have to do this for 10 fields.

I can do this by creating 10 different processes/workflow as its not possible achieving this in 1 workflow. Will this be an ideal scenario?

This can be achieved through Microsoft Flow as well. I need to know if I create 10 processes, will it have any effect on the system?

Thanx.

    Hi Huzefa,

If you are creating a background workflow, this won't be an issue.

I suggest you proceed using a background workflow for the same.

    Hope this helps..

Hi, yes I was mentioning about background workflow as an on-demand process.

    Hi Hufeza,

I think you can update all fields of parent account of opportunity base on condition in one workflow. All workflow process through Asynch processing service. I you have multiple process and it will be in waiting stage then it will impact Asynch processing service performance.

My recommendation is to ignore multiple process if you can achieve in single process.

    Hi,

The requirement is such that it wont be possible updating everything from 1 workflow.

Any suggestions on how should I go about if I want to use a single workflow?

    Thanx.

so you can update parent account fields one by one in single workflow. check condition for every field and then update one by one.

let me know if you need more help

    Hi,

Yes it works. I read on other forum posts that workflow only works for AND conditions and not for OR.

Thanx for your help. Saved me from creating multiple processes.
