Dear All,

I have tables for which I already exposed APIs in Business Central.  I followed all guidelines in several websites.

I would like to import it as virtual table in Dataverse.

In Dataverse, it appear in table "Available Business Central Table".

However, when upon click to make it visible, am getting the following error message:

The entity with a name = 'dyn365bc_warehousereceiptheader_elca_warehouse_v2_1' with namemapping = 'Logical' was not found in the MetadataCache.LazyDynamicMetadataCache with version 19168639 and timestamp 19168639

Very grateful, if anyone who encountered similar situation can provide me some clues to look at.

    Hi,

We have checked and found that this can happen because:
    • The API metadata may be incomplete or incompatible.
    • The logical entity name is too long.
    • Metadata cache issues in Data verse.
    Resolution:
    1. Validate API Metadata
Open the OData metadata URL: https://<BC_Instance>/api/data/v1.0/$metadata
Check that the entity is exposed properly.
    2. Reconnect Data Source
In Power Platform → Connections → Remove and recreate the Business Central connection.
    3. Reimport Table
Try importing the virtual table again.
    Alternate Resolutions:
If the issue persists, use Power Automate Dataflows to sync data from Business Central to Dataverse instead of using virtual tables.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks!
    Inogic
