I'm trying to get Forecaster Web Access to work, but it simply will not allow anyone to log in, administrator or not. It always returns the standard "Forecaster could not log you on" message. We ARE able to log in to the client itself. (Forecaster v7.0, SP5; Server 2008 R2 64-bit)
I have tried absolutely everything, including:
-Enable 32-bit applications
-Disable all authentication except Windows Authentication
-Every single resolution offered in this post (support.microsoft.com/.../2621460)
The SQL log is returning an error with every logon attempt:
Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 11.
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\IUSR'. Reason: Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error. Check for previous errors.
Adding that user and granting it permissions solves the problem, but Forecaster is supposed to pass Windows credentials through to the database (every user has the necessary access rights to the database).

Hi,
The Windows user should be set up in SQL and given access to the Forecaster database. That is needed for the users to log into the web client. You may want to review KB 2621460 mbs.microsoft.com/.../KBDisplay.aspx
