Dynamics Business Central On-premise with Azure MFA

We have an on-premise Dynamics 365 Business Central deployment, which we would like to protect with Azure MFA. I cannot find any documentation for this. The few forum posts I have found asking the same question suggest Azure MFA is supported, but any information provided is always links to the generic Azure MFA setup documentation. The only way I can see to integrate Azure MFA with an on-prem Dynamics deployment is by using Azure Application Proxy (AAP), but Microsoft specifically state that AAP does not support Dynamics. So does anyone know how to integrate on-prem Dynamics with Azure MFA?

    Hi,

MFA does work with BC Online.

Theoretically MFA should work on BC-OnPrem as well.

First, I think you will need access setup which will be by configuring Single Sign-On and later, you will have to configure MFA as you would normally.

    You can refer here

    Hello,

It is today that I wrote an informative community posting about this topic.

    Thanks.

We have this set-up. You set-up authentication for Azure AD (Giving every user an authentication email). In Azure AD you then enforce MFA for login to Dynamics. In the Enterprise Application registration, tab "Security" -> "Conditional access" you set your MFA policy. This will require all users making use of the application to use MFA as required per policy.

    AAD Policy: docs.microsoft.com/.../howto-conditional-access-policy-all-users-mfa

Thanks for all of the responses. I will look through the links and have a go at configuring it.
