Bank integration

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate bank transactions into Microsoft BC (we use SVB) and am seeing two things:

1. Historically, this could be done through Bank Statement Service, which is now not available in our instance (it's italicized during personalize but we can't access it)  https://www.kristenhosman.com/2022/09/bank-account-linking-in-microsoft.html#:~:text=Search%20for%20bank%20and%20select,being%20linked%20in%20Business%20Central
2. Microsoft learnings is now recommending Envestnet Yodlee Bank Feeds Extension and working with your BC service provider to complete this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/ui-extensions-yodlee-bank-feeds

Has anyone done this recently that can recommend one of the options above vs a third option? Thanks in advance!

You can also consider customization, or search for third-party solutions on AppSource.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

I believe Microsoft renamed the action button, Yodlee has always been what was available.

However, I would not recommend using it. Personally I've had a lot of problems with it. If you search this forum, you will see a lot of problems as well. It disconnects randomly and won't reconnect it. And for some banks it won't provide a full month of transactions but only a few weeks at a time, so if you're only doing bank recs. at month end it won't really work. These are just some of the problems encountered.

I recommend importing bank statements using a CSV file. Its somewhat more work but it works 100% of the time without issues. To do this you have to create a bank statement important format.
