Data Export Service does not Re-Sync

Hi,

I have the Data Export Service installed, we did a first round of synchronization and everything went fine.

However, any changes to the environment (Dynamics365) are not synchronized back to the azure database.

I have seen some articles that the service might become "stuck" but don't see any resolutions on where to check or how to fix.

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Please can you delete the export profile and create it again ?

I saw this as an option... and am wondering why this needs to be done?

I saw this option too, I don't have more details. Can you try this option ?

This solution did not resolve the problem data is still not being synced over in the new environment after the initial sync is complete.

    Dear Greg,

    Greetings!

Are you able to see any failure notifications in the Data Export  Serivce profile if yes you can click on failed records to validate the reason for failure and not sync to the target Azure Sql.

If there are no failure records and Delta sync shows not completed then there might some problem with the Data Export service bus operation might have timing out.

For that you can reach out our Microsoft Support channel by raising the ticket to help you on this issue.

    Power Platform Admin Center (admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/)

so Microsoft support team will help to resolve the issue in case if you are still facing sync issues based on your profile and tenant hosted the org.

I saw this as an option too.

There are a few things that were the problem.

    1) The Data Export service will not sync if on a Sandbox instance, it must be Production.  And even after you switch to Production, you need to create a new one.

    2) There are entities that are not supported for sync - some are available here - dynamics365blog.io/.../ - but this largely seems like a trial and error job.

    Thanks.

    Dear Greg,

    Hope you are doing well!

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/replicate-data-microsoft-azure-sql-database#prerequisites-for-using-

The Data Export Service doesn’t work for sandbox environments that are configured with Enable administration mode turned on. More information: Administration mode

For any synchronization i hope you have reached our support channel to help you on the troubleshooting.

    Thanks again. Good day!

Hi - yes, sorry I did not reply, when I switched the tenants to production it all worked fine.

    Thank you.
