Does anyone know if there is the capacity to have PO's for service lines auto receipt when the service line is consumed on the BoM?
The service lines are set to flushing principal FINISH and when the operation is completed the BoM line is consumed, Can the system then auto receipt the PO as part of this process?
Basically the reverse of the below outlined process > production order operation/BoM line consumption status dictates automation of PO receipt
Any new eyes that could provide feedback on this one?
To enable automatic posting of product receipts for service items , configure the service item with an item model group that supports automatic receipt posting. Then, enable Automatic Product Receipt under the procurement and sourcing policies for the relevant service category or supplier. While production order operations can trigger material consumption and financial updates, they don't automatically receipt purchase orders (POs). To streamline this process, you can configure Production Postings to reflect the costs of consumed services as part of the operation cost.
