Drill through from Report to Advanced Find in CRM

Hi All

 In MS CRM Reports it is possible to drill through the MS CRM to see and update the details on an entity.

I am wondering if it is possible to drill through to a List View or Advanced Find view passing the query parameters?
If so, I would appreciate sample URL.

This would avoid the need to create and maintain multiple drill though reports to show a list of entities to allow the user to get to CRM.

    Hi Louanne,

    You can get the URL of any of the views by having CRM generate the shortcut URL for you. To do this this goto More Actions Menu of the view --> Copy Shortcut --> Of Current View

    For Active Account, the sample URL would be

    <http://crm/ORGNAME/_root/homepage.aspx?etc=1&viewid=%7b00000000-0000-0000-00AA-000010001002%7d>

     

    You can use this URL in your reports.

     For other users that are new to CRM like myself this is a sample of the link I used to go advanced find and run it.

    https://crm-test.access-gateway.com/AdvancedFind/AdvFind.aspx
    ?EntityCode=4200&QueryId={00000000-0000-0000-00aa000010001902}
    &ViewType=1039&AutoRun=True

    I the action I have used the start of CRM_URL to get https://crm-test.access-gateway.com/ and the queryid as they change between evironments.
