Custom Sitemap - Titles in English regardless of selected language

We provide our customers with a solution that contains a customized sitemap. Our product is English-only, meaning that we do not intend to localize our own texts. Up until now our customers have been able to use their preferred language in the system and all our texts have been displayed in English regardless of their selected language.

We recently upgraded to Dynamics 8.2 (on-premises only) and we re-designed the sitemap with the new sitemap designer. Then we ran into problems with the localization. Now everything works fine as long as the user language is set to English, but if the user changes the language, our sitemap disappears entirely.

In our sitemap, all the localized titles are left empty. I understand that everything would work if we were to create titles for all languages our customers use. However, that would be tedious and completely unnecessary, since we would only want all customers to see the English texts regardless of their selected language settings.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Can we somehow set the English titles as default in such a way that they would be displayed regardless of the user's language? Can we do that without copying the English titles to all languages our customers currently are using?

    Hi Tommi ,

Could you please try open sitemap with XRMtoolbox sitemap editor and go to  your navigation put the title over there .

    Hope this helps .

I could edit the sitemap with the XRMtoolbox sitemap editor and include the localized titles there, but that wouldn't solve the problem. I could just as well include the localized titles in the user interface's sitemap editor.

The problem is this: Imagine we have customers from a hundred different locales and therefore the selected language of our users would have a hundred different possibilities. We only want to show the English titles to all of them. It would be a pain to write the same English text on the sitemap a hundred times - for each possible language.

    Is there a better way?
