Microsoft Dynamics NAV 8.0 - Login Account

Hi all,

I am trying to change the Login Account settings to start using a SQL Login instead of a Domain Account. However, when I select "User Account" as a service account, I have to enter the following details:

User Name
Domain
Password
Confirm Password

I can't leave the domain empty. Could you please detail how to configure a SQL Login as a Login Account?

    You must be trying to login on the Server?

    On Dev Environment - Ente Server Information then SQL ID and Password and it will give access to entire Database.

    Another user logging into RTC must be a user from SQl Side.

    Let  me know if I understood something wrong.

    Hello,

    There are two different things. Select Service Account  in NST Administrator console / PowerShell . This is with with domain account or machine account if operating in WORKGROUP mode.  Select Database Credentials to use SQL Server authentication in NST. You then have these two configured.
